PTT & VCADS Customer Software DVD version 1.11
Volvo offers a good software tool for repair shops to perform diagnostic on Volvo trucks.
PTT is a windows based application designed to test, calibrate and program engine parameters. This software works on model year 1998 foward. It was first devellop in 1993. Tests for fault tracing are incorporated in PTT. Also the VCADS version 2.38.00 software is included in PTT. You can download a PTT user manual, marketing information and installation manual for this site, just go to the TECH INFO section.
This tool can program all parameters (customer and vehicle parameters). Vehicle parameters requires a connection to VDA (Volvo Data Admin). These parameters can not be programmed with the Client ID and Password that we supply, these changes must be performed by a Volvo dealer, read the marketing brochure for more informations. Customers parameters can be programmed using PTT.
PTT computer requirements: Processor- 1.6Ghz Pentium or higher / OS - Windows XP Pro SP2/3 or Vista business / RAM memory - 2 Gb or more / HD - 30 GB of free space / DVD 8x drive / Monitor - 1024 x 768 pixels / Internet connection is required for initial activation and some functions / Microsoft Internet Services (IIS) & Sun Java 2 runtime environment must be running.
All fleets and truck repair shops should use PTT/VCADS to properly maintain their Volvo & Mack trucks.
